NOTICE OF CDBG NEEDS ASSESSMENT PUBLIC HEARING

City of Mullins

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the City of Mullins will hold a public hearing in the City Hall Auditorium located at 151 East Front Street, Mullins, SC 29574 to solicit public input on community needs and priorities for housing, public facilities, and economic development.  At this public hearing, the city will provide the results of its needs assessment and the activities which might be undertaken to meet identified needs, including the estimated amount proposed to be used for activities that will benefit persons of low and moderate-income.

 

This public hearing and the matters to be discussed are subject to the provisions of the City of Mullins Citizen Participation Plan, developed in anticipation of participation in the State of South Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, providing for the participation of the citizens of the City of Mullins in the planning and implementation of community and economic development projects which will involve CDBG funds. The Citizen Participation Plan is available for review at the city between 9:00 and 5:00 weekdays.
